Calcined Bauxite is a naturally occurring raw bauxite ore that has been thermally treated at 8001700 C to remove moisture, volatile impurities, and improve its physical and chemical properties. The calcination process enhances alumina content (AlO), reduces impurities, and produces a hard, dense, chemically stable material with high thermal resistance, abrasion resistance, and low iron content.
It is widely used in refractories, high-friction road surfacing, abrasives, steel making, cement, glass, and non-ferrous industries. With a Mohs hardness of 8.59 and bulk density of 3.13.2 g/cm, Calcined Bauxite provides excellent performance in high-temperature and wear-resistant applications.
