Product Description

Refractory bauxite is a type of bauxite ore that is specially selected and processed for use in high-temperature industrial applications, especially refractory products like bricks, constables, and kiln linings used in furnaces, steel plants, cement kilns, and glass manufacturing.
  • High Alumina (AlO) Content: Typically 80% alumina.

  • Low Impurities: Low in FeO (iron oxide), TiO (titanium oxide), alkalis, and silica.

  • High Refractoriness: Can withstand temperatures above 1700C.

  • Good Thermal Stability: Resists thermal shock, abrasion, and corrosion.

  • These are typically produced by calcining bauxite at 16001800C, enhancing alumina content and improving physical properties.
